  • Snowflake Data Platform for Datastores, Data Warehouses, Data Lake 

  • Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud™ (IDMC) platform to deliver trusted data for AI and analytics

  • Informatica Cloud Data Governance and Catalog (CDGC) product

  • Reltio Master Data Management platform

Required Experience:

  • 6+ years as a hands-on Solutions Architect, DBA, or Data Engineering experience designing and implementing data solutions

  • 2+ years hands on experience designing and building data solutions on the Snowflake Data Platform utilizing cloud technologies and solutions

  • Serve in a Product Owner role for our Snowflake data platform, directing and prioritizing the backlog with stakeholders

  • Demonstrated expertise in effectively leading and managing a team comprising Senior and Junior Infrastructure Engineers, fostering internal growth through coaching, mentoring, and performance management

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work across multiple projects at once

  • Proven track record of collaborating with stakeholders, technology partners and delivery team members across distributed teams, ensuring seamless, successful project delivery outcomes

  • Ability to develop end-to-end technical solutions into production — and to help ensure performance, security, scalability, and robust data integration

  • SQL and the ability to write, debug, and optimize SQL queries

  • Programming expertise in Java, Python and/or Scala

  • Written and verbal communication skills and experience

  • Detailed solution documentation (e.g. including POCS and roadmaps, sequence diagrams, class hierarchies, logical system views, etc.)

  • 4-year Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent experience

  • Ability to work with ambiguity while collaborating with partners to drive requirements definition

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Production experience in core data platforms: Snowflake, AWS Redshift, RDS Postgres

  • Cloud and Distributed Data Storage: S3, DynamoDB or other NoSQL storage systems

  • Data integration technologies: APIs, Spark, Kafka, event/streaming, Streamsets, Fivetran,  AWS Data Migration Services, Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS), or other data integration technologies

  • Collaborate with Data Engineering, Data Management, and Data Science teams to identify data tooling gaps and inefficiencies, and partner to implement solutions for their needs

  • Research and experiment with data and analytics tools to stay at the forefront of technology trends

  • Experience with data management technologies such as Informatica IDMC Platform, Informatica CDGC Data Catalog, & Reltio Master Data Management

  • Strong data skills, with experience researching, implementing, and onboarding new technologies

  • CI/CD Cloud deployment experience, experience using Git / GitHub

  • Complete software development lifecycle experience: including design, documentation, implementation, testing, and deployment

  • Automated data transformation and data curation: dbt, Spark, Spark streaming, automated pipelines

  • Workflow Management and Orchestration: Airflow, AWS Managed Airflow or similar

  • Methodologies: Agile Project Management, Data Modeling (e.g. Data Vault, Kimball), or similar

The estimated base pay range for this job is:

$84,000.00 - $155,000.00

Pay may vary depending on job-related factors and individual experience, skills, knowledge, etc. More information on base pay and incentive pay (if applicable) can be discussed with a with a member of the Securian Financial Talent Acquisition team.
